  • The Healing Power of Nature (Vis Medicatrix Naturae) – to facilitate nature’s role in treatment by removing obstacles to health and recovery, in both internal and external environments.

  • Identify and Treat the Causes (Tolle Causam) – illness does not present without cause. Identifying and removing causes to allow the body to recover. Symptoms are bodily expressions to defend, adapt and attempt healing. Root cause rather than symptom focus is employed.

  • First Do No Harm (Primum Non Nocere) – by not suppressing symptoms that can interfere with healing process and by applying the least possible intervention that assist the body in self-restoration.

  • Doctor as Teacher (Docere) – educate the patient and emphasise self-responsibility.

  • Treat the Whole Person (Tolle Totum) – by recognising the harmonious balance between the physical, mental, emotional for every individual with personalised restoration from 'dis-ease' back to health.
